ANIMAL PRESENTATION
EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY – 1:00PM
Join our Park Rangers in front of the Terramar Visitor Center for an up-close encounter with some of the park’s resident critters. Presentations often feature the highly threatened Eastern Indigo Snake, Gopher Tortoise, and a Florida Box Turtle. Rangers will share the ecological importance of these fascinating creatures, highlight their natural behaviors and habitats, and provide opportunities for safe, interaction with guests.
Veterinary care, habitats, and food for our interpretive animals are funded by the Friends of Birch State Park. To help sustain the Live Animal Program and other educational initiatives, please consider making a donation.
