Camp Live Oak

Camp Live Oak is a for-profit business that has an agreement with the Florida Park Service and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. This is not a Friends of Birch activity.
Camp Live Oak Logo

For over 25 years, Camp Live Oak has been a partner with Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, bringing kids into the environment and offering them invaluable memories. We have first and second generation campers that have returned year after year to enjoy our program. Camp Live Oak, the only accredited day camp in Broward County by the American Camping Association, offers an outdoor, environmental, hands-on, experience for your child, unique to Florida’s history, culture and environment. For over two decades we’ve provided camping experiences for children in Fort Lauderdale and North Miami during our winter, spring, and summer day camp programs, and beginning in the summer of 2015, our Science of the Seas camp at John U. Lloyd State Park. We believe that is why we are referred to as the Gold Coast’s Best Day Camp for Children!

Camp Live Oak offers a splendid life-giving, life-growing, life-changing experience, making a direct impact on children’s lives, we hope, for a lifetime.
